About Our Fly-in Trips
Established in 1990, Excellent Adventures operates exclusive outpost camps on remote wilderness fly-in only lakes. Five of these are within a 40 minute flight of our Ear Falls float-plane base. Along with fully modern cabins with indoor plumbing we also offer our clients lakes with choices of 5 different species of fish. Whether you are looking for trophy fishing or a lake that offers action packed days, we have it all.
About Our American Plan Fishing Trips
At Cat Island Lodge is an American Plan fly-in fishing resort located on the shores of Trout Lake in beautiful Northwestern Ontario. We provide full service and luxury comforts of modern living while you experience the outstanding fishing, peaceful Canadian Wilderness and breathtaking sunsets.
At Cat Island Lodge, the Fine Dining is the focal point of our American Plan Fishing Camp!
About Our Air Service
Excellent Adventures operates a Commercial Air Service for our clients. It includes Dehavilland Dhc-3 Otter, Beech 18 and a Cessna 185 aircraft. We also utilize an Aeronca Champ for maintaining and servicing the Outpost Camps.

Excellent Adventures offers 3 to 7 day packages to all our Outpost Lake destinations. A short flight puts you into some of the best fishing that Northwest Ontario has to offer, not to mention your own lake to fish and explore.
Your Excellent Adventures Outpost trip includes round-trip transportation from our Ear falls base with our own well maintained aircraft. A fully equipped modern cottage with screened in fish cleaning house, ample supply of staples (canned vegetables & fruit, potatoes, salt & pepper, cleaning supplies, paper products ), 14′ boats, 8 or 9.9 hp Yamaha motors, unlimited gas, nets, cushions, swivel boat seats, paddles, mid-week check flight, free parking at our base, and a map of lake with all the latest hot spots.
