Why July and August are often best. This time of year is often most popular with our guests. Weather is more stable and fishing is more consistent because of fewer cold fronts are moving through. Well Faron is on the road doing a few sport shows right now. He was at Pheasant Run last week and will be at the All Canada Milwaukee show in Frranklin, Wi. beginning Thursday the 21st  of January ,held at the Milwaukee Sport Complex. He will be finished there on Sunday and then he  is off to Madison, Wi. from Monday to Wednesday evening, then home on Thursday. Hopefully this great weather we are having will still be around.
Our winter to date has been a fairly nice , we did get some really cold artic blasts but they did not last to long. Over all it has been a nice winter so far. We have only about 6″ of snow or so. I heard we may be getting more of the white stuff this coming weekend.
The fall was beautiful. No snow until December.

Hi Everyone,
Just a couple of days before Christmas. We just wanted to send Best wishes to You All and please have a safe and Happy Christmas.
On the ground right now we only have about 6 inches of snow and the temps are fairly nice for this time of the year. It sounds like this nice weather is going to keep up for us over the holiday. Joyce’s parents will be coming home for Xmas and we will all be gathering at our daughter Carmen’s place in Red Lake. Our grandchildren can’t wait, they sprinkle Santa dust on the snow around their house to let him know that they live there. It is such a magical time for them.

In January we will be on the road doing shows once again, Pheasant run Jan.14 thru the 17th, then onto Milwaukee the 21st thru the 24th and with a final stop in Madison the 25th thru the 27th. Faron will be on his own, Joyce will be up in Canada, she has an important job looking after the grankids while their parents take a vacation.

Thanks Everyone for helping us make our 2009 season! We look forward to 2010! What ever vacation you should choose we hope that it will be an Excellent Adventure……..
