Your Non-Guided Plans 1 and 2 Packages Include:
- Float plane transportation to and from hunt location and your moose flown back to our base
- Generous weight allowance of 200 lb. per person
- Satellite phone access for communication
- Camp equipment and accommodations (fully equipped outpost or tent erected prior to your arrival)
- All utensils, propane cooking stove, Coleman lanterns, generators, saws
- Ground covers, comfortable cots with mattresses, wood stove, showers
- Use of boats, motors, gas
- Your MNRF approved validation permit for a bull or cow is assured and held under your name once the reservation has been made
- Complete food packages for Plans #1 and #2 can be added for $350 USD/person
Your Guided Plans 3 and 4 Packages Include:
- Professional moose guide service for the duration of your trip
- Float plane transportation to and from hunt location and your moose flown back to our base

- Meal plan includes: pork chops, chicken, ground beef, ham, bacon, eggs, bread, canned soup, lunch meat, vegetables, fruits, potatoes, coffee, fruit juices and more.

IMPORTANT TRIP INFORMATION
- Departures from the Cochenour water base to hunt locations are scheduled in the morning – weather dependent
- All package rates are in USD and are subject to 13% HST tax
- A $1500 deposit is required at the time of booking, in order to secure your reservation. The deposit for Plan #4 Package is $2500
- Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another hunting trip during the same season
- Cash or check are accepted forms of payment; credit cards are not accepted for final payment. Please make checks and money orders payable to Cat Island Lodge
- Save 5% off your rate if the entire hunt is paid for within 30 days of booking
- The cost of the items below are not included in these packages, and are to be purchased through the MNRF:
- Outdoors Card – $8.57 (CAD)
- Moose License – $479.85 (CAD)
- Outfitter Bull Moose Tag – $200.00 (CAD)
- Outfitter Cow Moose Tag – $150.00 (CAD)
- Export Permit – $35.00 (CAD)

- Remember, weight restrictions of 200 lbs/person guided trip or 250 lbs/person non-guided trips apply for all Moose Hunt trip packages. Planning is needed to ensure your baggage fits the aircraft’s weight requirements
